Overview of Our Core Vision, Goals, and Phased Plans
Mini Miners is designed for beginners dreaming of crypto mining like Bitcoin, but without the high costs, complexity, or technical barriers. Our vision: Democratize mining with plug-and-play ESP32 devices, emphasize green solar energy for sustainable profits, and progressively decentralize our DUCO-inspired codebase to empower a fair, community-driven ecosystem. No big rigs needed—just buy from our site, plug in, and start earning MINI. We'll remove centralized controls (like bans, blocking, or account removals) for true transparency and trust.
Overall Project Goal
Fork and evolve DUCO into Mini Miners (MINI): Retain the low-power, fun SHA1-variant mining for ESP32/AVR/PC devices, but add decentralization, solar incentives, and beginner accessibility. Target ~$0.0048 MINI value (tied to average US ESP32 electric costs) for break-even mining, with 100% profits via solar. Build organic growth through community incentives and eco-friendly features.
Phase 1: Stabilize Core (Immediate Focus)
- Finish primary server setup using a clean, older DUCO version (~v2.x) for reliability and fewer bugs.
- Complete miner configurations (e.g., v2.74 PC Miner) and ensure seamless connections, job distribution, share validation, and Kolka-style rewards.
- Test end-to-end mining: Focus on low-power devices like ESP32 for hobbyists.
- Integrate beginner-friendly features: Pre-programmed hardware shipped ready-to-mine.
Phase 2: Introduce Pool-Masternodes (Next Major Step)
- Transform servers into community-run pool-masternodes: Each acts as a mining pool, handling direct miner connections, job distribution, and local share validation—replacing traditional pools entirely.
- Rewards for node holders via small % fees on mining rewards (no new MINI minting to avoid dilution).
- Dynamic fees based on miner power: Lower for low-power (ESP32/AVR) to encourage hobbyists; higher for high-power (CPU/GPU/ASIC) to discourage farms and promote eco-friendliness.
- Staking requirement: ~1000 MINI collateral to run a node, with slashing for bad behavior.
- Decentralize DUCO code: Remove all centralized elements (bans, blocking, account removals) for fair play.
- Incentives: Node owners promote MINI and their pools to attract miners, earning more fees organically.
Phase 3: Distributed Backend & Master Servers (Longer-Term Decentralization)
- Run 3+ mirrored main servers in the background for redundancy (your controlled cluster initially).
- Introduce distributed master servers: Community-run full mirrors of the backend, requiring higher staking (e.g., 100k MINI or adjustable) for enhanced security and reduced centralization.
- Master servers earn rewards (e.g., share of fees) while providing global state management (balances, Kolka, consensus).
- Further decentralize: Add P2P communication, governance voting for stakers, and solar incentives for master nodes (extra rewards for solar-powered operations).
- Green Energy Focus: Incentives for solar setups (100% profits, zero electric costs); run backend servers on solar; future bonuses for solar-powered masternodes/masters.
- Utility & Loops: Trade MINI for ESP32 hardware; closed-loop ecosystem for upgrades and retention.
- Beginner Marketing: Target newcomers with simple unboxing-to-mining experiences; YouTube tutorials, guides, and promotions.
- Sustainability: Capped supply, fair emissions, anti-farm measures; transparent GitHub releases and community Discord for input.
- Organic Growth: Node owners as promoters; aim for viral adoption in maker/IoT/green communities.
These phases build incrementally on our stable foundation, with regular updates shared here. We're committed to a troll-resistant, eco-friendly future—watch for progress in our milestones below!
